FlowingGas ("we", "us") provides browser-based gas piping network analysis software at flowinggas.com and app.flowinggas.com. This policy describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider).
• Product data. Models, designs, and component libraries you create are stored so they can sync across your devices. This data belongs to you.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
• Sales inquiries. If you submit the enterprise contact form we collect the company, name, email, and message you provide, solely to respond to your inquiry.
• Operational logs. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, requests) retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
• We do not run third-party advertising or tracking scripts on this site.
• We do not use your engineering models for anything other than providing the service to you.

How we use data

We use the data above to operate the service: authenticating you, syncing your work, billing your subscription, responding to inquiries, and keeping the service secure and reliable.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of subprocessors to run FlowingGas:

• Supabase — application database, authentication, and hosting of customer data.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and product data for as long as your account is active. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will honor verified requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements for billing records.

Cookies and local storage

The marketing site sets no cookies. The application uses browser local storage to keep you signed in; no cross-site tracking cookies are used.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact [email protected] to exercise them.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
